I recently did a Graduation party where to my surprise the kids in attendance were requesting mostly newer country rather than the Top 40s I figured they would be into. I have a ton of country in my library but do not update country often because I do not get requests for it very often. I am looking for a service where I can go back and get songs from the past few years to get current then I want to subscribe to a service like Prime Cuts so I do not have to worry about downloading songs each week. Right now I update my library every 2 weeks by using Billboard top 100 to find the hot songs and then buy them from Amazon and know it would be much cheaper and easier in the long run to use one of the services. The thing is that in my market we seem to be a month or so behind the times when it comes to music because the songs I hear discussed on here become popular in my area months after most places in this country so I would already have the songs before the are hit here. Any infomation on the best way to fill in the gaps and which music service work best for you would be greatly appreciated.

I am a happy Prime Cuts customer. Part of their service allows you to purchase older material...I believe they refer to it as "recurrents". Jim Weisz is their rep and he posts here on occasion. He provides first rate customer service and will be able to answer any questions you may have.
I know with idjpool (www.idjpool.com ), the Country catalog goes back to 2011. Country only is $15/mo.
Check out Top Hits U.S.A. as they post their T-Disc (AC/Top40/Country) every day for MP3 download. You do get a bunch of "fluff" but one never knows when an older song will become fresh to the public. They also have a Recurrent Country Disc that you can download every other month that has the most recent hits to chart well (18 tracks) that span usually the month just finished and the month prior. They also have the same Recurrent Top 40, same concept--RC (country) and RH (Top40) come out the same month.
However, Prime Cuts is very good as well. They have a weekly disc similar to the T-Disc that has songs that have charted within the Top30. Their Prime Cuts Weekly also has more Urban than the TopHits weekly T-Disc. Both services have monthly download services at a reduced rate than what one would get with the Weekly Disc (not in MP3 Format) but excellent sound quality.
Promo Only has a sale going on now where you can get select past discs for X $. But you probably have to b a member. Last email I got they were 2011 and 2012 select CDs...same thing (Country, Top40, Urban, etc.).

Yep, Jim Weize is a very efficient and responsive music vendor. I had their services and Top Hits U.S.A. and had to choose one to cut back. I was getting quite a bit if duplication between the two services, but if one service didn't have the latest song that was requested the other usually had it, which made me look good in the eyes of the requestor.
Thanks Jim for treating me very well for the couple of years I was with Prime Cuts. It comes down to personal choice and customer service.
Urban, Pop, Rock, AC and Country all go back to 2011 with this company, it is what I use.
I buy the CDs, and rip them myself.
Jim and I have a little history, since he ripped off my tutorial for Audiograbber, which I spent a good deal of time upon.
