Yesterday I had the money to finally get my computer fixed. Me and one of my partners went to Micro Center to get the parts to fix my PC. It was a big mess. I had to find out from him that the HP I bought had a lot of problems and that's why they discontinued that model. He also told me that HP was building computers too fast.

The other thing I learned too was that the motherboard that was installed in the computer was an AMD motherboard. He said the older ones were good but the newer ones are garbage. It cost me like $350.00 for the parts. The sales associate had to let him know that I needed a new power supply because the one that was installed wouldn't work right and short out the motherboard and processor.

Basically he rebuilt my computer and it's super fast now! He picked out a i3 processor, 16 gigs of ram, the power supply and a Intel motherboard. This thing zips through stuff. He did a great job fixing my computer! I couldn't be more happier! I basically had no other choice but spend the money to get my PC fixed. It was either that or buy another tower. He did the damn thing! He's great when it comes to working on computers. I just said to him yesterday he needs to go to school to get certified. He's a computer wiz!

Maybe the new PC will have Mix rethinking his music position and he will delete all the improperly obtained stuff and pick up a good legal library.

I'm starting to think it's multiple personality disorder.

Possible bi-polar...?

Can't rule out the multiple, although I haven't seen that often...

Could be he went off the wagon...

Liars and thieves often have to back-track on their stories. It could be that simple.
I'll keep it simple. I'll say what you told me. You don't have nothing to prove to me and I don't have nothing to prove to you. Have a great day and hope all goes well with you this year in your business.

So you got your PC fixed. It would have cost roughly the same or less to have a certified shop fix it and the work would have been warranteed and guaranteed. i had my hd upgraded from a 250 gig to a 1tb in my mac and i paid a pro shop to do it. I could have done it myself but then I would have kicked myself in the ass if something would have gone wrong.

Hell, for almost what he spent, he could have had a much better brand new one.

I was going to say that too - i3 is on the lower end of the spectrum now.
It's working super great now though. No this PC is for home use. It's not a laptop. Many years ago I did see a DJ use a PC to DJ with before laptops became the norm.

A month and a half ago I picked up a Lenovo tower at Costco on sale .. i5, 12Gb RAM, 2Tb HD for $499. Next time shop around .. these days, $350 is usually too much to spend on fixing a PC.
