Boy I see people have all kinds of ideas to get people's money. I got a notification on Facebook about an up coming event for January 21. That's the day the president gets sworn in again. Someone came up with an idea to have people to come to the Westwood Manor to watch the event. The cost to see the event there is $55.00 by a certain date and after that date the price the price goes up to $65.00. There will be no tickets sold at the door. You can use a credit card to pay for a ticket. A table of 10 is $490.00. If you want to be a vendor at this event the cost will be $150.00. The Westwood is in Garwood, NJ.
They must be kidding with this. The whole thing is to be from 7pm-11pm. Why would someone go there to see the event when you can stay at home and watch it for free. What's the big deal about going there to see it? Is it going to be all you can eat and open bar the whole time of the event. I'll stay home watching it on my TV for free and eat something from the kitchen. To me that's for people who have nothing better to spend their money on. I'm a huge fan of Obama but I certainly wouldn't spend $55.00-$65.00 to see this.
If I were to go there it would be to network with others to see about getting more business. That's the only reason I would attend that event. Other wise I see that as a waste of money. Hell for $25.00 they can come to my best friends house and see it on his wife's 50 inch TV, get drinks and eat. Even listen to some CD's while they are there.
