$600 for a pair of Martin Acrobats?

If there is no shipping on top, grab them! Two of them linked together and run off an MC1 controller will be the easiest / best show you can put on that will fill a HUGE room. Best part is, that the MC1 is pre-programmed and sooooo easy to use! You can find them on ebay now and again for 100 bucks or less.

That's a pretty good price if they are in perfect working order, and free shipping is a bargain. Grab them or I will.

I agree X6 two are great together and 300 or less is a very good deal if they are clean and in great shape as mentioned.

The MC1 is a great little controller. So yes, if it comes with one, the deal is even better. Oh, I forgot to mention that you can run the Acrobats in a cool one channel mode which gives you all the same controls are the MC1: slow stand-alone, medium stand-alone, fast stand-alone, random stand-alone, music trigger, manual trigger, strobe and black-out.

I have 2 Acrobats, the MC-1 controller and a case available for $750 plus shipping. They're in very good shape and were recently opened, cleaned, and tuned up. The case is an American DJ roller case.

So I guess 2 Acrobats, in their original boxes and an MC-1 for $500 is a pretty good deal? :nod: He he....suppose to pick them up on Thursday.

Makes me wonder if I'm doing the right thing by grabbing these. Did I understand correctly that the MC1 controller has a bunch of pre-programmed patterns in it? I'm currently running 4 Chauvet LED scanners (300 & 200) and love the searchlight-type effects. The martins obviously have a bunch of gobos in them but the effect strikes me as more like the "colored dots" type effects I was getting with fixtures like the triphase or revo4. Not sure if this is a good move or not. Opinions appreciated.

I realize that. Yours are what I'd consider more traditional scanners, much like my current Chauvet scanners. The Acrobat is a barrel scanners so the youtube vids I see show more of a splatter effect, not totally unlike the revo4. I've made a choice to go away from "the colored dots" as I've heard several brides specifically mention not wanting that. Wondering if these acrobats are a good move or not.

What video? I've been checking out vids on youtube. So you really think I'd do well to get these? What about the MC1, is it pre-programmed on the patterns? It'd be nice to just hang 2 of these and let them run all night. I'd probably use them with the colorstrip that's perm-mounted on my T-bar.
