Recommended Polka music?

Thank you, sir. I think I've got it covered with that album I bought yesterday. Wouldn't want to make an entire evening of that God-forsaken excuse for music, don't ya know.

Rick Ryan, with all due respect, you won't be playing in a club. With that being said, we all know that many times at these Private events and weddings the Client almost always dictate the Music flow whether or not it works. The DJ then has to comply! If this client wants Polka, then you should be prepared to play Polka for the whole event if it called for that kind of music.,

And if she (the bride) had asked for polka all night, that's what I'd play. I guess I should have classified "some Polka music" as what the bride actually said "just a few Polkas for dad and grandma".

Don't be afraid to play a German Polka now and then too. I frequently play "Oh, Mary Sus'n" - Original Alpenjazz Quintett (German Drinking Songs...KOCH-Praesent #340 952) You can find it in the International section of Borders/Barnes/Noble.
