Last night i went to my partners apartment to pick up a lollipop headphone from him. I asked him to give me one as a birthday present. When i get there i found out he made a mistake and put my Shure headphones in his bag. I was going crazy looking for them yesterday.
I got there and found out he went to a store in Saddle Brook called EZ Converter. They buy and sell all kinds of used stuff. They have some nice stuff there from laptops to DJ gear to cameras and so on.
He told me he went there and bought a used Numark CDN 88 in great condition for $100.00. When i first got back into DJing that was my first cd unit i used. I eventually sold it and bought 2 Pioneer CDJ 800's. Later on i bought 2 of the MK2 800's.
I bought the CDN 88 becasuse when i first met my partner playing in a bar that was what he was using. I know why he bought it because of what he's getting into now. He's gone back to using cd's to use to play in clubs that he can't use his laptop and HD. Me personally i wouldn't have bought it but that's on him.
He already has a Numark NS 7 and Mixtrack Pro. Great peice and at a great price for that CDN 88. Here are some pics of the unit with that garbage Behringer mixer. I used to play in a club that had one of those mixers. It's a peice of Sh**! If someone gave me one i would sell it to someone else. I hate that mixer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It loks like they were just trying to make a cheap mixer that would look somthing like a Pioneer mixer. It doesn't even come close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wouls take an ax to that mixer.
