Is this ENOUGH lights for a party?

Hey all, doing a company party for about 75 people. Here's what I am using as of now

Two (2) Vertigo TRI Leds

Also, do these need stands or can I just run one off the table and set one on the floor? Be nice!

It all depends on the size of the room/dance floor!
but I would think two of the Vertigo's should cover a smaller room nicely for a basic light show.
I would suggest using a stand of some sort...
1- you need to keep them out of reach
2- if you have them too low...one person standing in front of them can block the whole light

and you may want to get a mirror ball type effect, for slower songs

I am by NO means a lighting pro.....but that's MY spin on it!

It's at an Elks club and like I said it's for a small party....the sad thing is that they aren't compatible with stands (at least that's what I read)...maybe there is an elk I can put it on...hmmmm

They arent "compatible with stands"?? I think you are confused. You need to get some O clamps and bolt them to the bracket of the light. The clamp then gets attached to the light stand. Pretty much every DJ light works like that. If you have 2 of those lights and attach them to that stand it will be plenty of light for 75 people. You dont want one of these on the floor.

I would get a set of O clamps and hook one to each speaker stand (tripod). It would look cleaner and it would elevate the light.

That's what I do.

Duct tape them to the top of each speaker.

Or of you have fly points on your speakers, mount the lights thre somehow to get them even higher.
