My marketing plan up until last year, included over $3,000 for print media annually.
last December, after careful consideration, and analysis of my ROI, I suspended all print media advertising for 2010.
Jason Jani, one of the most successful Wedding Disc Jockey Entertainers in New Jersey,(Sound Connect DJs of Belmar NJ) gave a inspiring seminar at DJ Times in Atlantic City NJ this year. He stated that Print Media advertising was not in his marketing scheme either.
Unfortunately, the Millennials are not influenced, nor are they intrigued, with print media. In fact, most of them never READ print media.
They get their news & information on their EVO's , Blackberry's, and laptops via the Internet. This is where they read their books, magazines and other publications.
Many magazines are now providing on-line version of their publications.
Mobile Beat magazine even has a great on-line edition published now.
The handwriting is literally on the wall.
Print Media is dying.
Print Media advertising no longer provides a decent ROI (Return On Investment)
For 2010, I expended my $9000 advertising budget solely on Internet marketing. My sales are up 35% over 2009.
It is my belief, and now, experience, that print media advertising is an unnecessary waste of your valuable marketing dollars.
