awesome lights. are these leds? how much did you pay for them? I'm just starting out and i dont have lights yet. i want to go green using leds, but i know they are expensive.

If you're curious on a price, you should send a private message to NLFX pro, Ben can help you out. :) ....They look great JJDJ, I'm actually about to order some of these that we're going to use as our stage lighting in place of our old par cans. We feel we're gonna have a lot of cool options by swapping the par cans for moving head washes, i can't wait!

I have 16 of these now.. love hate relationship for me.

I've had about 7 go bad so far over the last year. They're very cheaply made, but for two and a half bones per fixture, I can't keep my paws off them..

I'd highly recommend adding a few to anyone's arsenal, however, i'd also recommend getting an extra or two, because everyone I know who owns several has a problem child or two in the batch.

More plusses than minuses though, so go buy some! :triwink:

I thought they looked really cool when I first learned of them but I heard in a Youtube review that the fans in them were just too noisy. What is your take on that? Ben and the Blizzard company owner were going to report back with a dB reading of the fan noise but never did which leads me to believe they are noisy.

They fans are a bit noisy for sure. But when the music is on you'll never hear them.

I'll be using them next week at a school dance so I'll let you know more

There have been some recent modifications to them that has increased the price, but dramatically increased the performance. We have a rockin' show special from Mobile Beat.

That's my fault. I got busy with MB prep and forgot all about it. I will take measurements and post screen shots within 2 weeks. Scouts honor. This coming week probably won't happen as I'm digging out from MB.

Is this the same light that Cheaplights is selling (a knock-off probably)?

There isn't anything in this world that somebody can't make cheaper. LOL. My 2 cents would be to get the Blizzard ones. We have sold hundreds and have yet to see a failure.

Ben, what mods were done? Can you shoot me a price for a pair? [email protected]
Is there a show special on now for a pair of Q-Spot 260 LED's? If so, shoot me that price too with shipping to Blaine, WA 98230. Thanks!

I've got my big duty-free allotment coming for the family vacation and I plan on taking advantage of it once again. :)

Upgrades to the control circuit and the diodes. I'll send over the pricing asap. :)

Ben, did they improve the noise factor of the fan? Did you ever measure it at 1m with your dB meter?

Shoot.. you know... I never did. *sigh* I rarely get time to do the "cool" stuff I like to do around here. LOL. There is a new Flurry Wash coming out though... it uses 3W TRI LEDs... it rocks!!
