Looking for something different in lighting

Just going over my lighting I realized that most of my lights are wash lights or "dots/circle" style lights. This includes lights like the the colour plattes, Galaxian, LED's, Derby's, Mini Strip, VUIII, Revo, Starball, Lasers, etc. I put away my Acrobat because it was to heavy compared to some of the new LED's.

So, I'm looking for something different that isn't heavy, is small and might have different gobos. Maybe something like a small LED Acrobat. (But not only that style.)

Since most of the halls I entertain in have stages and a "front overhang" I need a light that will "shoot out". (Like the Galaxian.)

Yes, I have the Bliss light on my wish list.

Just got back from a local DJ Chapter meeting. After speaking to some of the members I think that the trend is not to the same old "light in your face" pointing out to the dance floor, but more to "up-lighting" around and behind the DJ.

Dance floor wash?

2 ETC Source 4s w/ a 90* lens - + break-up pattern & a colored gel sheet.

Put a couple of these on the dance floor & you've got an elegant dance floor pattern.
