Revo III vs Revo 4

I'm looking to add another centerpiece light that provides big coverage, and was thinking of either the Revo III or the new Revo 4. I've heard great things about both. The video of the Revo 4 is impressive, but it doesn't seem like it would be as effective for the crowd. I'd plan on probably aiming it at the crowd, but maybe the ceiling, I'm not sure yet. I have not seen either of these lights in person.

Which do you think is better? Or if you think a different light would be better (however I'm mostly looking at these two). Would you use it on the crowd or on the ceiling/wall?

Primarily doing school dances and teen events.

Current light show:
(4) Chauvet Intimidator 2.0
(2) Chauvet Colorstrips
(1) Chauvet Scorpion Storm RG laser
(1) Disco ball

Thoughts/Suggestions?

I haven't seen the Revo 4 in person only on video.....it looks impressive. I know many of us have the Revo 3 and are impressed with it. We use ours on the ceiling...it can light up a ceiling like no other.

The 4 actually is more impressive when you can use DMX to control it. One of the ways would be to "twist it" on it's side allow the colors to "sweep" across the crowd, making it seem like a much different light than you see in the videos.

I would get the 4 IMO

I have two Vue III's and I like them...

however the videos for the Revo III and IV is convincing to get one of them....probably the IV if you got a few extra duckets!
