What is the best gobo light to use at weddings for shining the names on the floor/walls/ceiling? And were do you get gobos made?

I've been using (renting) a Martin PR-1, I'm impressed with it enough (and I have enough monogram upsells coming up) that I'll be buying one early next year.

And you can get your gobos from Ben and Kat at NLFX.

Here is a recent outing...
From across the room with the flash on. This was the only place I could shine it. The other three walls were either all doors or glass, and the room was too crowded for me to get a good angle on the floor. But it was fine, as the B&G were sitting right under that large mirror. And if you are wondering, the projector is set up against the wall on the right, on this side of that table in the right forground corner of the pic.

And with the flash off, so you get a better idea of the brightness. It was on earlier in the night when the sun was still up (this was in August) and you could still see it very clearly on the wall.

I wish I would have taken pictures I had a Wedding with gobos Saturday.

I use Chauvet SX-Gobo I think they are called. Now discontinued I got 2 for something like $120 from pssl.com about 18 months ago. I have only had the chance to use them twice but I have made a profit from them and thats all that matters. Any future use of them is pure profit.

I don't think one is enough, I use 2 and rotate the gobo on the dance floor.

The gobo cost is about $120 for two.

I too would love to have that heart design for future customers.
