True... I had a bride want a Disney Wedding CD she told me if I couldn't get it she could give me her CD... I got it off iTunes no problem... but the fact is yes they will most often gladly lend you their copies.

If you search for it it will link to a CD on Amazon, but the song is listed as being by someone else and so far I have not ever been able to play it to see if it is the same song.

I just got back from meeting with a couple, planning their wedding. They had a few songs that were unique. They stated that if I didn't have the songs they would supply them for me. I didn't even have to ask.
 
Mike : I doubt you will find a version performed by Ian Betteridge. He wrote it.

The most popular/requested versions are by Tony Kenny, Andy Cooney, and/or John McDermott.

I'm also looking for a track. Luca Barbarossa "Portami a Ballare" . I can't find a studio version through my normal suppliers. Client doesn't have it either. They heard it on YouTube so I did grab the audio/video from there but it's live.

Did find a cd by Andy Cooney, north of the border on eBay hopefully it'll be a good version.

. Ah, maybe not so fast an opinion. While there's a politically correct tone, there is actually more to that sentence than the song.

So many see the beautiful forest, so few the elegant individual trees. Sigh.

the client is being told that efforts were made to acquire their song unsuccessfully. While they don't know where or how, they are assured that reasonable efforts were indeed made.

Next, they are asked for their copy. Their response to that may offer further clues where it might be found with additional extraordinary efforts (such as "We heard it on YouTube" or WFUX/WSUX radio or.???").

By remastering it to a digital file, the notice is being made that I need this track in advance of the date, not at the event at the last minute. No CDs day of.

By returning it, they known it is merely a loan and that whatever time and expense they needed to outlay, they still reap the benefits.

By recommending to practice the dance to it, it is a really nice way of saying that the song choice may, at the moment be an emotional choice, but having to dance to that selection, in the spotlight with every word in the song jumping out, combined with the inability to dance to anything good let alone unusual, should be looked at and tested before the horror and embarrassment takes place. Many times, that innocent suggestion rightfully causes them to drop the track entirely.
