I had to change my port address in shoutcast as well as my output ip since i'm on my lappy.. don't have much music though

You have a port conflict with FF... change the destination port in both the Shoutcast Source and the Shoutcast DNAS config file and restart the Shoutcast source and Shoutcast DNAS for your own broadcast.

On the output tab of your shoutcast source change the port to 8002

and then open the Configuration file:

^^^^^^^^^edit this. then save and restart the Shoutcast DNAS (GUI) server.

Then restart the source and you should be ok with FF

Once you do that your station will be located at http://xxx.xx.xxx.xx:8002/listen.pls

Yes but once you get it... it's fun.... just the idea of people all over the world being able to tune into what I'm doing... makes ya feel like some sort of pioneer... or a celebrity or what ever.

We have some definite good news thanks to my new friend Rob!

Rob helped me establish each step in getting ready to take the reigns and do my own show. Tomorrow, I plan on trying a dry run to see what I am capable of.

Thanks Rob for lending your time to help a brother out. I enjoyed our conversation, I may need to have another problem so that I have a reason to talk to you again! =)

Anyways....I might even try to do a run tonight..we'll see what happens!
