I always loved this concept, but that's the trick.....who's going to listen?
A prerecorded podcast gives people the option of tuning in when they want.
We would have to get the reputation of being very entertaining for 20-30 people to tune in every time we're on.

It would be cool if there were some sort of widget for this. Something that would work like AIM where you could see and chat with those tuned in.

Actually there is... Toqer has one on his site or at least he use to but should still know how to set it up.... he utilized IRC chat and somesort of website thingy... that combined his broadcast and the IRC chat room.

lol actually there is - yahoo has hundreds of them you can use , but you have to have the yahoo wiget program installed

I also have contacts that do irc broadcasts (I even have a Dj mirc install program I created a few years ago and still have it)

so anything is possible
 
well, I tried to set it up, but as usual, I am too f'in stupid to do anything with a computer, I don't even know why I bother to turn one on anymore.
