Nope. Not most of it, anyway. Hell, Marco uses his Bose IN 0 degree weather.

I do. The basement garage is heated. I had to cut a square hole in the ductwork to install an adjustable grate so it would stay warm out there....I'd freeze my arse off in the winter if it weren't heated.
Well for me personally I have one bedroom in my trailer that is specificially for all my gear, altho most of it keeps spilling out into verious places in the rest of the place every time i do a gig. Which is stupid because I'm always looking for the cords i need.. *shrug*
I also have a followup question for those of you who carry insurance, are you covered if you keep your stuff at home and it gets stolen?

Theft is part of just about any insurance policy. It all depends on your insurance carrier and what your policy says.
I doubt most home owners or renters insurance will cover business related items unless a specific coverage has been added.

In most cases, NO your homeowner's/renters insurance will NOT cover it because it is used as a business (not a home stereo) Check with your insurance company.
I carry liability & property insurance that covers my gear everywhere. (most companies won't cover your gear when it is on the road, Is it in writing? don't just assume.)
Humidity is a factor in most equipment, but the most obvious is the speaker cones and foam surround. Once humidity gets to them the foam disintegrates. Space is not a problem for me since the lower floor of my place has the bar and pool room as well as a second room where I store most of the stuff . And being single with a very understanding GF helps

Papa, I don't need to rent a storage space yet, but when it comes time, maybe we can share one and split the cost if it comes to that. Heck, man! As close as we are to each other, no reason why we can't.
