When it comes to the 70's,many of the real "Forgotten" Gems were on the 25 Disc Rhino set "Super Hits Of the 70"s,Have A Nice Day"....Two that come to mind are "Judy Mae" by Boomer Castleman and "I Did'nt Mean To Love But You Got me Anyway" by The Sutherland Brothers And Quiver.
