New Logo?

Cin it is very cute but not sure if it stands out enough as it is a very soft color.What type of events will you mostly be targeting?
To be honest? I have no clue what that logo is about. If you didn't have the word "entertainment" in it, I would be scratching my head in a WTH kinda way...
The characters make me think of two msn buddies doing the nasty.

Ahhhhh I KNEW you were out there.....DDSC Stands for Dancing Dan & Spinful Cindy - yep, married.
I asked a fellow dj (who dabbles in logo making) to take a stab at it.
I explained that Dan & I wanted to freshen up our image - make it a little more exciting. Specific target market is going to be the smaller (less than 150 guests) events.
Honestly, when I first saw it, I thought the 2 oval objects looked like (pardon my language) a pair of boobs. And I agree about the blue - not very dynamic.

Why stray from Spincin? I like that!
You should hook up with Hank at Request Line Productions and for a very reasonable price he might be able to come up with a kick ass logo...

Add grooves (or implied grooves) to the discs, to make them more like records.

I agree with most of my peers on this one.
A brighter color....maybe royal blue, instead of the washed out color.
Perhaps adding some headphones to the Weebles, and some grooves to the platters...
It's not bad, but it doesn't really say ANYTHING. Maybe DDSC Entertainment in a royal color, and then DJ-MC-Pro Sound-Canned Goods underneath, to explain what DDSC is. How bout Dancin' Dan and Spinful Cindy- DJs since 1874?? (or whatever)

If you use vinyl, putting records in your logo is cool.
If you don't use vinyl, and you put anything vinyl related in your logo, then you may as well join the stupid club.
Something to think about maybe if you're concerned about what kind of "cred" you're getting with vinyl-spinning dj's, but not much of a concern or issue with John Q DJ-hiring public.
If showing or alluding to vinyl is what you are going for and gets the point (that you're a dj) across to the peeps writing you a check, so be it!
