You communist nations are all alike. Try China -- it's now capitalist.

Problem is, I don't fly anymore. I think it was that last cavity search and putting me on some lists that caused that. It's pretty interesting down there in the islands -- I believe I'm one of the only people who brought my own weed, because theirs sucks. But the cigars are different as well...

Run of the House. You pay the dude like 40-50 bucks at the port. then you barter -- jeans, sneakers, shrimp, booze, whatever you have. You get back some primo cigars, which you can sell for big bucks up here.

Make that 3 beers. a shot of of rum :) Key West is not too far from me -- maybe 60-70 miles. I don't fly, so I take the boat. Couple hours. Havana is pretty nice this time of year as well. You just pay off the people at the ports, and you get ROH.

Been a full time FL resident since 1994. The only reason I came back, was to sell the Farm, since my brother is a knucklehead. I had him an offer for $500k 6 years ago -- he refused it. I was lucky to get a 100k out of it now. Y'know, when you got a brother that makes 200k per year, and goes...

Appreciate the thought Paul. I'm gonna run down I-95, then I-75 once I hit Jacksonville -- then another 6 hours to Naples. It's a long ride-- 1500 miles. I have a non-functioning gas gauge, and a non-functional odometer. The last time I drove down, I wrote down where I stopped for gas, and how...

Busy -- getting ready to take long trip back to FL -- have to tie up all loose ends in NY. I woke up the other morning, and it was 19 degrees -- figured it was time to get outta here. The guy that bought the place, keeps turning my thermostat down to 60 -- freakin communist. I got people...

Great reason why not to be lazy after doing a gig.

I beg to disagree (actually, I don't beg, but it sounded cool) :D My EULA is very specific: Section 2. License This EULA allows you to: (a) Install the trial version of the Software. If you agree to purchase the Software, and a verified payment has been made to SoftJock, the following...

ASIO is so 90's... Ever since Vista's new audio engine was developed, the manufacturer can write drivers for Windows. Take for example, the Gigaport AG -- it sorta requires asio, but the HD comes with both types of drivers. It's not cheap for the sound card people to have somebody to write...

I bought some new gear yesterday.

Interesting experience I''ve had... I bought two lappys - one with a i5 with 8GB of RAM, the other is a Core 2 duo with 4 GB of RAM. Both run Win 7 64 bit. Want to guess which one is faster and more robust? I'll give you a hint -- it's not the i5. They both run the same software, around 80...

That's a misnomer. Most DJ apps (in fact most apps) are compiled at 32 bit for backward compatibility. So, you will only have access to about 3 GB of memory. Unless you want to search through Windows Explorer, you will see no increase in performance from your library.

MBLV18 VIP by Tricerasoft - Nope you can't buy it, but....

How would that explain Santa Claus and Nobody...? I have 20-30 email accounts that are private, and used for business purposes only. Nobody should have access to those addys, unless they are harvesting them, or somebody is giving away their email address lists (or selling them). I expect a bit...

    Virtual DJ home edition

Have one for 8 years now. There's a link on my support page to it. The caveat, is that you need to be a registered user (read paying customer) so I can keep the spammers off of it. Either way, you have to send me an email to allow me to register you, it's easier to just send me a mapper via my...

Users can email my support addy, and I will add the mappers to my website. It's really that simple. That's why I built the MIDI Learn into Rockit. I have manuals and...

I see no use for controllers -- you have keyboard shortcuts, and a mouse. That's why I write software, and do not sell hardware -- I like things lite. Also, being a small company, I have to pay for any controller to map it. It's not cost effective given what I charge for my software.
