Busy -- getting ready to take long trip back to FL -- have to tie up all loose ends in NY.
I woke up the other morning, and it was 19 degrees -- figured it was time to get outta here. The guy that bought the place, keeps turning my thermostat down to 60 -- freakin communist.
I got people living in the house, and like 7-8 guys working all over the place -- waters working one day, and not the next -- and only 2 speak English.
I have no working bathroom, have to pee outside, and use the camping toilet for number 2.

Rick, I think I'm off your route a little but if ya need a place to stay about half way give me a shout. I've got plenty of room and always keep plenty of beer in the fridge.
Appreciate the thought Paul. I'm gonna run down I-95, then I-75 once I hit Jacksonville -- then another 6 hours to Naples. It's a long ride-- 1500 miles. I have a non-functioning gas gauge, and a non-functional odometer.
The last time I drove down, I wrote down where I stopped for gas, and how much it took.
Essentially, I'm winging this trip...

Been a full time FL resident since 1994. The only reason I came back, was to sell the
Farm, since my brother is a knucklehead.
I had him an offer for $500k 6 years ago -- he refused it. I was lucky to get a 100k out of it now.
Y'know, when you got a brother that makes 200k per year, and goes on 10 cruise ships per year -- they don't care about you, or the 100 grand you put into this place.
I don't think I will give him my new address.

Reason I ask is that we're planning another trip to Key West and I'd love to buy ya a beer or two...

Key West is not too far from me -- maybe 60-70 miles. I don't fly, so I take the boat. Couple hours. Havana is pretty nice this time of year as well. You just pay off the people at the ports, and you get ROH.

Yeah even the corner stores sells Cubans (cigars that is) here in Toronto....

Problem is, I don't fly anymore. I think it was that last cavity search and putting me on some lists that caused that.
It's pretty interesting down there in the islands -- I believe I'm one of the only people who brought my own weed, because theirs sucks. But the cigars are different as well, when you get them direct from the harbor masters.
Pair of jeans gets you a box of the real stuff -- not that crap they send to Canada.
Nice boat ride as well. Try it sometime...
