Just how versatile are these without using a sub?

What sub would match up nicely? I have yet to see an offering from EV that is powered that looks like it would match without being a huge monster of a sub.

Rob -

For a powered sub, look at the SB2A (which can also power a SB122). You could also go SBA760... but that might be a bit overkill.

Ben there is no such thing as overkill when it comes to bass!:sqwink:
We are Djs!:sqlaugh:

It anyone here has actual hand-on experience with them, what kind of difference are we talking between the SB2A and the SBA760? I know the wattage, but could you do a H.S. dance with them? Would the 2A be sufficient to do a 200-person wedding? Man, a pair of those 2As and I'd leave the Bose sitting at home.

Just get yourself a pair of CV Earthquakes and you'll be good to go!:sqwink:

Sooooo Close to pulling the trigger on a set of these. The NLFX crew had these at MBLV last Feb. They were incredible. As a matter of fact, they hid them behind a much larger speaker case, pumped them up, then pulled off the grill. OOFA! I'm debating on what powered sub to get.

I am used to the Matrix 2000. Its an awesome setup, but back breaking. Time to consolidate.

Okay.. Sounds good... Thanks for the info...

So, a pair of the ZXA1's and a SB2A would reasonably provide sound for a 200 person wedding in a standard ball room? Or should I be looking at the ZXA5's? It's all about size and portability for me.

Thanks
