Anyone out there running the Yorkville NX55's and if so, how do you like them?
Do you see any limitations to them?

I don't own a pair but I have rented them on occassion

They are a decent sounding speaker but they are what they are. I've had experience with the powered version and for a small room they are fine or a larger room if you want to add a sub Depending on your application they could do a decent job but in the ent it's a 12" driver you won't get alot of bottom end.

If it was me, unless you have a specific idea on what you want to do with them, I would go with the NX750P they would be a bit more versitile

Love these guys... If you do anything big/ Hip hop etc, you need a sub... But great speakers... Love them...
Way way better than Eons in my opionon... NX750s are the 15" driver model, heavier but they have a good amount of bass...
Again, The 55Ps are great, i run them for schools,(k - 6) a sweet 16, 50 -75 kids.
They have great head room, Max SPL is huge on these, I only one ever ran them too far, bar gig I did, College night, place was packed - 300 or so... hip hop, rap... Couldnt take it all....

Honestly, Highly recommended, feel free to direct any question my way.

I had a small NYE gig last night ( 85 people ) I rented two of these speakers for the gig and wow did they sound great. For 12" speakers, they have a lot of low end punch and really sound good. Considering the small crowd, I used no sub and still had plenty of low end. Very impressed with these speakers.

I run 2 with a NX720S (15" Sub) and love them. In over a year of ownership, they're going strong and I rarely have to go past half volume for weddings (largest crowd has been 200+/-). I'll be using them for a 100 guest High School Military Ball this month. I plan on having a LS808 or LS800P (18" sub) instead of my usual 15".

Alot of the decision depends on what type of events you do. For Weddings and events under...say...250-200, they work well with a sub). For schools or larger events, the 750s or EF500P would be the better choice.
