I'm at tonight's wedding, and the bride is very touchy feely. When I talk with her she is too physical. I had to find the groom and she grabs my hand and walks to the other side of the place. I pretended to drop something. Now when I speak with her I go with my clipboard and pen in hand.

Give her a big hug, tell her she looks beautiful and mention that you've got to get back to the console.

Thoughts?
 
I wouldn't let it bother me. Some people are naturally touchy-feely.

I've been getting a lot of hugs from Brides lately and I just take it in stride and go on with what I'm doing.
 
It was more than that Kirby. I have had hugs, etc., but this was too much. Put it this way, I honestly don't mind my wife hugging, touching etc guy at all. But had she done what this bride was doing I would not be comfortable with it.
 
No. Had a drinkor two, but definately not. I think it was just a case of her being so happy about the day that she was overboard in this area. It was very uncomfortable.

Funny thing is that I am an affectionate guy. I hug all my friends, guy or girls. It was just overboard.

i would tell her, "hey, I'm not a piece of meat that you can just grope. I have my dignity. I want people to appreciate me for my mind, not just my looks":sqwink:

I'm with you Fred. She needed a big hug. I'll hug anyone guy or gal. I love everyone. I myself have to watch what I'm doing at events because it's very easy for me to walk up and put my hand on someones shoulder and keep it there while talking to someone for a few seconds.
 
Just how affectionate was she being? I mean was she playing grab ass with ya? Or, going after your package..... (salivating at this thought) did she try to lick your ear? Whisper sweet nothings and then lead you to a secluded broom closet..... ah nevermind my thoughts are in the gutter at the moment.:sqwink:

JW - She sat way too close, looked in my eyes way too attentively, would insist on holding my hand or rubbing my back when we spoke, etc. If we were at a bar the signals would have been very clear.

I am afraid to say she was hitting on me, but you could make a case for it.

Give it a year and she'll be divorced. Then you can find out what she has in mind. ;)
