looking for some input, without spending thousands what wireless system that has hand held and head set that will go farther than 150 feet, i do a lot of car shows and when i walk around i lose the signal and then I'm talking to my self instead of the people, rack mountable

Check with Ben. I believe this Mic shown below can do that, I have one. I had it tested to the point that someone went outside in the Parking lot More than 150 ft. away and it transmitted even though the club doors were closed.

I thought it would...just wanted Red Hot to be aware of sudden "great" deals on ones with the older frequencies.

I've seen a few...let the buyer beware...

I'm with Houston and Dunlop. Check out the EV RE-2 systems. We have a great price on them, which is nice. What is better is that I trust that same model hundreds of days a year when I go out and give my "nerd speeches". Imagine what would happen if I went out to give a technology presentation to a room full of AV professionals and MY wireless didn't work? It hasn't failed me yet in over 200 appearances and over 50,000 miles flown. If Delta airlines can't break it... who can? LOL.

As for outdoor reception... you should be able to get 300 - 500' reliably from an RE2... I've seen it work up to a mile away, but I would say that is something you shouldn't count on happening regularly. LOL.

Ive got 2 systems my big system has a 10-12 year old Nady my other system had a Gemini but i just replaced that one with a new Gemini because of the new law , anyone know how the rack mount nady one works
 
Hey Ben!

Are there any GOOD wireless microphones that offer two (or more) heads (handheld and/or headset) that can be summed into a single output, via the receiver? I've seen many lower-end karaoke brand mics. that do, but am unaware of any "name" brand mic. having that option.

I'm not really aware of any good ones either... and that's probably because it isn't really a desireable feature. I understand why you would tell me it is... but from a FOH standpoint I would want my vocalists separate so I can apply different dynamics and gain settings.

Dr. Zinc turned me on to the GTD Audio UHF mics. 100 or 200 channel, frequencies for all. My regular Shure using singers have been giving me compliments like crazy. BTW- the freqs show on both the mics and the receiver display. Under $125, and full range of distance.

couldn't you "sum" the two outputs with a Y adapter?
(unless of course, you're talking about MORE than two outputs)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Have you lost your mind? You do not just take two outputs and make them one with a "Y" adapter (Without adding some modification). You can damage your equipment if you do such a thing!
"Y" Adapters are designed to take ONE output and split them into two outputs!
