I call a Spade a Spade when I see it. It is by no means a slam. It is the truth. Many get by with just the bare minimum, they say so with their own posted words. So if that is not mediocre, I don't know what is.
You know if those same ones have the guts to acknowledge the facts about what a Powered Speakers really does and go on to say that they can't afford to buy an EQ etc or that they don't want to use one, then I would respect that decision. However, it is when they are trying to tell me and state that what I am saying is wrong, that is when I cannot relent. It is not something I made up, it is facts plain and simple. Why don't they contact their manufacturers and ask them for themselves "Does a Powered Speaker replace an EQ". "Does a powered speaker by itself adjust to the room acoustics."
