Yap, and for European market they are made in Germany.I was lucking to Fujisu-Simens when i was in NY and i know that for US market they are made in Japan.They are low-mid price range here.

i will continue to use PC's until Mac's come down in price but as far as reliability, my ex brother-in-law has used a Mac religiously for the past 10 years without it EVER crashing the machine or programs he uses even ONCE. I can't say I know a single PC user who can claim the same thing, including myself.

I usually have to re-load programs several times during the day when I'm working on several things at once..

Sorry, but I am completely soured on Apple products when I went through 4 Ipods in the matter of 6 months, each one with a completely different problem. The customer service for Apple is just horrible, and they never once could give me a straight answer as to what the problem was. The last one died 2 hours after taking it out of the package. I demanded my money back at that point (and it took about an hour phone call to high level support to get it back) and swore off Apple since then.

In regards to crashes, I can tell you that I have had my desktop for going on 6 years now (is it running Windows 98) and I have never once had it crash in any form.

My 2 laptops (one is about a year and half old, and the other I have had for about 3 months) both have XP on them, and same thing, never crashed or locked up at all on me.

Best computer Brand which people trust:
1.Dell
2.Apple
3.Toshiba
.....

So i do a little resarch and find out that in this order are theyre top of the line Laptops price on market.
And now back to theme.
If i buy a Mac I become OSX for free(instaled).If I upgrade with iWork cost me about 100$-right?
If i buy a PC i maybe become some Vista Home edition but this version is not near OSX system.So i must buy Ultimate version which cost me 200$ and i must buy Office which cost me about 200-300$ more(because i need it).From this point of wiew Mac seems not to be so pricely anymore.Am i right?

You do not need to spend on extra 200-300 for Office.

You can get OpenOffice.org (which does EVERYTHING office does plus much more) for free.

My brother has been a dedicated Mac fanatic since the late 80s, and based on his experience, Macs can be just as troublesome as Windows machines. He's had to wipe drives and reinstall the OS many times in the past 20 years! Same for individual programs.

And he's gone through several iPods and iPhones too...
 
I had in mind more OSX Vs.Windows debate but i like that PC Vs.Mac debate too.
I just think that for home use is Mac a nice thing and not so expensive how it lucks.

Ah, the Mac vs PC or OS X vs Windows debate has been going on all sorts of forums for eons. Back in the day the debate raged on over Usenet (Newsgroups) Then of course you got the other guys like Doug and I who lean on the side of Linux. :)

At the end of the day it's all about you. What OS you're most productive with and what OS you feel comfortable with and enjoy.

User Interface wise, OS X has it hands down, I think they always have. For maximum compatibility Windows has it hands down. For the price conscious, Linux has it hands down.

That being said no matter what computer you decide on there are plenty of open source (free) programs out there for all of them. You can save your self the cost of iWorks by using the Mac version of Open Office or it's fully Mac ported cousin, Neo Office. From what I've read the only difference between the mac version of Open Office and Neo Office is that Neo Office is fully aquaified (tied into OS X's aqua interface). This suite of programs both opens and saves in all MS Office formats so you can save yourself a few hundred there.

Other than that there are tons of free programs out there for the Mac, come across them alot and I'm not even looking. :)
 
PC is synonymous with Windows. OSX or any other variation is synonymous with Mac. No?

Yap Dan, you are right and clear.Its the same as Rick said that OSX is for Ladys and Windows is for Man.Someone from a side can tell that Pc Dj-ing is for Ladys and Turntables are for Man.
 
In my house there are 3 dell laptops, 2 desktop PC's, a MacBook and an iMac. I am constantly fixing the PC's and there seems to always be a broken down machine somewhere. It is to the point that everyone is fighting over the iMac all the time because it always works. The MacBook is mine so nobody else touches it. The only Windows machine that works well is my wife's Dell laptop that I got her for christmas, it is also the only one loaded with Vista. I have never had to fix my Macs in the 2 years I have been using them but I make sure to back up my PC's once a week due to previous experience. I still use my main desktop PC a lot for everyday stuff but for any real work I prefer my Mac. Just my two cents and i'll probably get change back.

iMac and Mac Book + Mac Mini (for all my music) = cool

I do have two PCs and a Vaio laptop too

Much prefer my Macs.....
 
For now i have two Laptops and a PC in the Studio.I use one Laptop for Dj-ing one for internet and other stuf and now i consider a iMac for home use and i give one Laptop to my Mom.

I have two Toshiba laptops (both XP) with never any issues and an ACER with Vista. I need Ricks fix for that one as it loads very slow on start up.
