VDJ & Mac

VDJ works just fine on a mac just not as much plugins for it. Are you planning on using it as a dvs or are you going the midi controller way.
Another option is to run bootcamp and get a copy of XP. This way you have the two os's and if you do get VDJ it is licenced for both. I have been using VDJ since version 3 and would not use anything else. Nothing comes close to its capabilities at its price point and most other dj software charge you for the upgrades.

i second drzinc on his views. In fact, though i'm not into Mac, i've known a couple of my dj friends who are usin vdj on mac and find it extremely responsive. In fact you could even hook up serato scratch's sound card to vdj and even use vdj's time coded vinyl's to control your Virtual DJ with turntables, and the videos run pretty smooth. Another interesting fact is that VDJ has too many effects (for both audio and video) that once you get a hang of it, you'd never wanna try anything else. The UI is pretty much simple and very to the point. No useless buttons or stuff like that, that seem to make ur interface look complicated. Of course i'd strongly advice you to stick to VDJ's basic skin cos this is the most simple and efficient skin for live shows - Well this is my opinion. Anyway hope that helps you make up your mind.
