2. DJs are supposed to stand all the time.
I was called unprofessional on many boards because my back did not believe this. Even though I could mix just as well sitting on a stool giving my back a break I was still unprofessional.
3. Playing line dances is the mark of cheesy DJ.
If the client wants line dancing then play line dances. If the client does not want line dances and they are requested then note the request but don't play it.
4. Playing games at weddings is the mark of a cheesy DJ.
If the client wants games, play games. If the client doesn't want games then don't play games.
I learned a long time ago to seperate the wheat from the chaff on any DJ board. I could care less what anyone thinks of me aside from my clents.

1. Most DJs I have met or encountered are cheapskates.
2. Many DJs are hypocritical (related to above item).
3. Bigger is not better.
4. The prettier a cake is, the worse it will taste.
5. Old people are awesome!
6. Bridesmaids and FOBs don't know that their toast stories are long winded and boring.
7. It's not about you.
8. Most of the things that you think matter, really don't.
9. Wedding planners are the Devil.
10. DJs shouldn't try to do the Devil's work.
