okay so the special at Riviera is closed at the 39 dollar rate. I should have booked.Oh well I have a couple other oprions up my sleeves.

Time may have advanced the referenced derrière kicking.

The wheels may be coming off the wagon and the previously and often referenced, incorrectly or not, triple-headed hydra is currently a dual head.

Hopefully they can find a surgeon that is willing and capable of un-conjoining them. I believe Peter could be a truly worthy and well rewarded proponent of and for our craft.
So, what your saying is the boys aren't playing nice together any more. How suprising.

I'll agree with you about Peter. If he could humble himself a bit he does have a lot to offer. He just needs to remember he's not the only one.

"Peter, put the glass down and step away from the Kool Aid". :sqwink:

Yeah, the $39 rate is gone....:sqmad:

But right across the street @ Circus Circus - you can get a refundable rate of $46.95/night --- I just saved myself $310 by taking a healthy walk across the street!

Hey Rox -- You got some 'spainin' to do!!! Do tell! :)

Papa,
Alphabet loves Boston. In fact I need to buy him a Red Sox shirt next time he comes up.

Yes,

Boston is a cool city - historically speaking.

As for the 'Sox shirt'.... my fingers cringe as I type this last sentence....LOL

I don't need another chamois for waxing my car!!! :sqlaugh::sqlaugh:

News Flash: The Phillies are still the 2008 World Champions!!!

Joe one other benefit of the walk is because I was making it alot last yr to go to the CC buffett as the Rivs food left something to be desired. The Circus Circus more geared for families will be relatively thin on kids as it is during the school yr andonly shortly after the holidays.

If you're going to stay at Circus Circus, if you want any chance at getting rooms at the Riviera when rates go down, make sure you get a refundable rate. Usually, the "deals" are non-refundable.

That show is almost always in Vegas at the same time as MB. Last year might've been the first year I can remember going to the airport and not being surrounded by people with show bags from the Magic show.

in case some didn't know it Vegas has become other than that gambling town. In fact conventions have replaced the previous money source compared to the getaway gambling mecca it once was. If you dont believe me look at all the time shares and the increased efforts to host conventions in the past ten years. Its truly a shame that the strip is evolving in this direction. Trump Towers and the area just across from the Riviera all the way to Fashion Show Mall is but a hint of the future Las Vegas.

Ok - I'll admit it... how many of you thought the "Magic" show which brings in over 120,000 people was illusionists, etc?

It's men's & women's fashions!

Anyway - I clicked through their site to see if I could get a better hotel rate... Actually, nope. Going through Circus Circus directly was the best deal.

Just FYI....

Cheers,

Joe

**** all that. I've never attended one except in Jolly Old......

That was the PLASA expo at Earl's Court - I just couldn't listen to all that bollocks to be honest and would rather go on a little vacation nearer home.

To be honest I think we can all see the demise of these large backslapping "shows" in the near future - everything will "go local" and the smaller vendors will win out by sponsoring satellite shows in differing Metros - hell I'll put Rick up if he comes to NC ;)

So my opinion? Save your readies and bollocks to MB - you know it'll be plagued with wallies.......

We need to get you to speak American English... :sqerr::sqwink:

Y'know what scares me Son?

I understand everything Davy says... :sqerr: :sqeek:

Funny, because I understand everything my buddy Marco says....

Now, "Tuck"anese can be quite tricky at times.
