If you look really hard you can find cheaper hotel rooms that what they are offering. Even at the Riviera. I believe the just sold some for $39 a night. Stay across the street at Circus Circus and I believe their around $69 a night. For that price I'd walk across the street.

I'm going alll swanky this time... but it means walking 3 blocks or so to get to the Riviera.

Decided to try Vegas upscale.... at the new Pallazzo, next to the Venetian. But I may not actually even attend the convention. Maybe I'll just meet up with people for non convention events.

Honestly, if I had the money to go I'd do the same thing. Last year was my first time in Vegas and the MB show. Except for breakfast and all the fine people I met the show itself didn't impress me that much. I would go just to hang with everybody because I learn more shooting the sheit than I do listen to Mark Ferrell get his butt spanked for over 3 hours.:sqeek:

Time may have advanced the referenced derrière kicking.

The wheels may be coming off the wagon and the previously and often referenced, incorrectly or not, triple-headed hydra is currently a dual head.

Hopefully they can find a surgeon that is willing and capable of un-conjoining them. I believe Peter could be a truly worthy and well rewarded proponent of and for our craft.

I'll second the no fly thing... :)

Besides, if I walk within 50 feet of a roulette table, I go home broke. If they had a decent sized show somewhere besides a gambling town, I'd probably make the effort to go, just to hang out with folks, and drink beer :)

Hey I got that email today too! what planet are they coming from venus? Sorry I searched flights...from NJ its $900.00 round trip for a flight..give me a freakin break!

I think I can speak for Ron as well when I say this...

If you ever feel inclined to visit Boston, the party is definitely on!

If you're serious, I can come up in December, I think.... my wife is planning on taking the kids out of town for a few days....

Really? I have RT and 4 nights at the Palazzo for 2 people for $1600. From Philly. Air was about $700 of that cost. Booked 3 weeks ago,

Blues & BBQ baby! You let me know.

This joint is about a mile from me: http://redbones.com/

Hell, if I come maybe I can BRING the BBQ.... but I'm happy to go out as well... she is thinking about the week between Christmas and New Years... but she has to find out what her Dad wants to do... she wants to fly all of them to Alabama to see her Dad's sister.

Papa,
What Hank said. As long as it isn't the first week of Dec. I'll be at Nature's Classroom in CT with my youngest daughter and them a busy weekend. Give me the dates if you can make it and we can gather together a group of nut cases. Alphabet loves Boston. In fact I need to buy him a Red Sox shirt next time he comes up. Maybe he can make it as well. Hank knows the party spots in the city. I'm in the sticks about 30 miles outside of Boston.

Rox,
You do know I'm an intellectual moron? Now I'm going to have to read that post 10 times to understand half of it. Thanks.
