I think I am done with that site. I can network all I want here for free, and I don't get ANY referrals from that site.

BTW...did you know that your link on the main bubbleparties site goes to your A&E site, which if I remember has no mention of the bubble parties stuff. I've never gotten a lead from the site either, however the link has done wonders for my ranking with search engines (I usually come up page one for childrens entertainment in my area), and from that I have gotten parties.

It does.

I have to check on the link, but it definitely has my bubble party stuff on the site.

Wayde,
Are there many on the Bubble Parties Forum?

There are maybe two dozen plus members but only three or four post regularly.

BTW Bubble People...
Now is the time to pick up some great deals (50% off) on goofy hats and such for your Bubble Party costume. Just visit your local temporary Halloween store at the mall.
I usually change hats every other song, just a silly little detail that the kids get a kick out of.

I had a return engagement at one school. When I returned the kids had either brought in or made their own crazy hats. I didn't even know they were doing this. What an honor that was for me. It reminded me of when I did my fire safety program. The kids would have their own homemake fire hats and badges on when I arrived.

I was hoping I could get a favor from one of you bubble guys.... can any of you share a picture or 2 from an event with UNIDENTIFIABLE kids in the picture? I am really bad at taking pictures during an event. I'm putting my marketing letter together for 2009.

We have something here called The Apple Blossom Festival. Brings in thousands of people from all over. Every year there is a Queen and she has a court of little maids right in this age group. Met the Festival office manager tonight at a Chamber mixer, got her card and said I would be calling them to offer a free bubble party for the Little Maids and their friends.

Papa,
I'll check my pics from this past year but I am in the same boat. I suck at at taking pictures while I'm working. Maybe we can colaborate and get some shared pics we all can use.

Go to my site (www.thefunbubbleman.com) and click on Photos. I'll share any of those although they are certainly not the best shots. Also the bottom three may have too low a resolution for printing. I'll send the original file without the bent photo effect.

Thanks Wayde, I did right clack / save.

I still can't find any of mine. I don't think they were that great anyway.

How about we start collaborating on some new music for the shows. I'd like to find some new songs to use. I'm also thinking of using a parachute this year.

Ron, I have started using Double Dutch Bus by Raven Symone.... the kids love it. I have also added parachute games. I also went to amazon and bought some books on children's outdoor games.

I've seen a local activites guy use the parachute. He's good with the kids but I know I can work it better. Where did you get yours and well did it hold up with the kids?

I'll check out that song, thanks.:sqwink:

I don't remember where I got it, but the important thing is "rip stop" fabric....

I'm reading a book on games for recess, and I think I have a diamond in the rough, here. Bean Bag Tag.

Basically it goes like this:You set up an area with cones or similar. You decide how big the area is. Every kid gets 1 bean bag. They throw it UNDERHAND and try to hit other kids feet with it. The kid who gets hit must do 10 jumping jacks or similar to get back in the game....

I figure they can do this while I play a song, and then upon completion, they have earned a "bubble song".

What? Are you kidding me? Kids throwing bean bags at other kids? That is the sickest thing I ever heard. Don't you know these kids will now grow up to be cereal killers or defense attorneys or something. What next, are you going to pull out balloons and play speed dodge ball? Oh the mayhem when will it ever stop. Obama, we need you now, please stop this madness. Think of the children.:sqerr:

OK, I've officially lost it.:sqeek:

Next week... Dodge Ball! and RUNNING!!!!! Dare to dream... dare to dream..... if my whole plan comes together, there will actually be scores! And winners and losers, too!

I am nuttier than you! :sqlaugh:

I just re-read the whole thread, and I am glad I did. There is some really good info here that I either missed totally or had forgotten about......

I spent 2 hours tonight creating a 1 page flier, plus a note about my bubble and parachute parties... Haven't sent anything out yet, but it must be some kind of Karma.... I went to my email box and found the first 2 requests for info this year!

Coolness.
