The ODJT Rockit Skin

Thanks pal and hey I have a technical question perhaps you can answer. I loaded an extra large skin on my old narrow 15 inch Toshiba lappy and I cant get to the controls to change skins it is spread out bigger than the screen. Any fix without deleting Rockit and re downloading it?

Unless you turned it off, the Skin Browser should come up first thing, so switch to a different skin.

No, go in and edit the INI file in Notepad. It's in C:\SoftJock\RockitProDJ41.
RockitVJ.INI
Change this line (about 15 or so from the top):
ShowSkinOnStart=0
Change it to a 1, instead of a zero
And next time, leave it alone -- there's a reason the Skin Browser shows up first
Or simply change your screen resolution to something bigger than the skin, make the switch and change it back.
No, you make your windows resolution lager making the skin fit to it. Right click on the desktop and change the settings to the largest choice. Also, see if you can click and drag Rockit from the top left section. Rick's skins usually have a grab there.
when I scrolled to edge of screen it moved over to gain config button thanks for helping out a comp iliterate. Back to the greatest show on Earth Hank Skinz for Rockit.

It would be really cool if there would a layered psd file for the background included for skins. That would make self-tweaking really nice.

I have one for most of the latter ones. I merged the layers on my first projects because I wasn't thinking ahead. :sqconfused:
You can have them if you want, but including them would only make for larger files.

I had to do some cut, crop, slice & dice on a few of yours when I was tweaking. Then, I just went right back to using the Dark Grey with a few modifications. But, it was fun building a skin.

I have all the latest Adobe crap -- just don't like it -- bloatware IMHO. PSP gives me the option of saving as PSD, although I've never tried importing it into the latest Photoshop...
Wait till you see the 4.2 skins -- with 4 decks, it gets really weird... :sqerr:
