That would be easy our friend and one of our sponsors here is one of the top people in the industry for servicing DJ's with the Bose system. His name is Cap, I think he is on vacation right now. But will be back in about a week. If you go with him he not only will get you a fine deal but you also get his fantastic service. Get a hold of him, you can contact him with this link.

I am going to purchase a Bose system in the next couple of months. Do you mind sharing how you would do this?

Thanks,
Alan

Right now my plan is just to use 2 colorsplash jrs. or similar.

primary system rebuild

I finally got around to re-building my primary console and got a pic with the web-cam. Granted, this is a very crappy pic, but it's all I had to shoot with at the time.

That's why I added text to the picture describing what is in the rack.

The pic is actually two shots stitched together in photoshop.

Enjoy.

Nice rack Spark. Do you use powered speakers with that set up?

Nope, never! NO powered stuff for me! I'm an OLD school FOH kinda guy!

See both attached pics - one explains what is in the rack and the other is from a reception I did back in November with equipment in use.

do you bring the vending machines with you to every job??? LOL

its just the set up shot is so clean and it looks as if they are purposely in the picture.

nice set up.. is that the gemini mixer with the airhorn and machine gun?

Kyle in NC

The Gemini Mixer is the PCM with 8 second digital sampler. The sampler is the only effect it has. I picked it up back in 1994 and it has been in my rack ever since! It has never given me any trouble. I know that there are many mixers that boast being better, but this serves my purposes. For flanging, echo, and chorus effects, I have my PCDJ FX program which has toggles for these effects.

As an aside, I had to disconnect the vending machines during the event.....I needed the electricity for my lights!

The event was a Prom / Sweet 16 Exhibition Show held in The Middletown North High School Cafeteria.
