Jim, I noticed you left the L1 bases in their bags and simply rolled the cover back. No wait...you folded back the cover, then rolled it forward over the door with the cables coming out the sides of the roll. Wow, cool! I'm gonna have to pull out an L1 tomorrow just to try that.

Hi Wayde,

Yes. I got the idea from Peter. He does his that way to protect the 'guts' so to speak.

I've never had any heating problems or audio issues with it.

Plus, it keeps the bottom of the PB stand from getting scratched and it's quicker tear down time.....a little anyway. :sqwink:

Me too. It also saves a tiny bit of time in break down time, it looks like.

Bass the setup very nice and neat my only issue with watching the videos is the overlighting so many effects all at once seems almost overkill and not allowing any of the FRX to show their individual colors so to speak. I like the effects but not so much all at once but thats just me. Especially during a slow song. Only my Ha penny.

I don't think it's overkill, I think it's sweet. He doesn't have to have them moving all the time, they could be set to static and just be used for color changing during slow songs or something like that.

Besides, if the wedding party wants to pay for something like that, why not? The customer is ALWAYS right if they got the money to back it!
I figure each of those movers are at least 40 lbs x 8 = 320 lbs!!! and that's probably a conservative weight. That's not including the heavy weight of the necessary lighting tripods and trussing. Just looks a little 'extra' for a wedding reception.

Here's the largest system I ever toured with. The picture was taken back in the 80's at the Omni in Atlanta when I was touring with Teddy Pendergrass.

Saturday (10/08/10) setup, with a very scaled down lighting arrangement.
