I always put mine on the floor, but they are about 6'6" tall. Bose L1s, but when I was running standard speakers I always put the mains on poles or had the stacked them sub, main, main so the top main was pretty high up

Dont know your setup, but flying the speakers off of trussing makes them look better... and it gets the sound out across the audience
Some might refer to putting speakers on stands as too much trouble. Others might call that being lazy.
I put mine on stands so I can get them WAY up in the air for great projection.
Are you running a single 10" sub? Is that enough to keep up with those speakers?
That is a Yorkville LS700P. It has two 10" speakers. It is self-powered at 700 watts. It thumps very nicely, thank you. When I need more, I bring one or two of my LS800P's. Self-powered at 1500 watts each.
IMO, horns should be over the head of your average listener. At or below head height can cause ear fatigue pretty quick.
