We played "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle for the Bride-Father Dance. Yeah, it's an okay standard...etc, etc. However, yesterday's wedding was different in that by the end of the tune, we had a floor packed with father-daughter couples. We'd never seen that before...got some great pictures.![]()
What was funny about this one was it was supposed to be the bride and her dad; however, the groom and his teenage daughter joined them on the floor and then other father/daughter pairs came out. The bride and groom were an older couple this time around, but regardless, it was a pretty close family all around so like Ducky said, we got some good pictures of it. Actually I think one of the best pictures we got was of a grandmother in a wheelchair who wanted to join the other girls in the dance circle. This grandma got someone to wheel her into the middle of the circle and she started groovin.
