I do like their DJPro Basic though a nice implementation with some features I wish RICO would add.
Have a look Rick

A nice implementation now if I could get Rick type
support on this type product it would be cool.
I'm familiar with Greg (that's his company and product). Never met him, but we've both been developing DJ software for eons, and frequent the same developer sites.
I think he's pretty much outsourced most of his stuff now, sorta like PCDJ...
That's probably why you'll find I'm one of the few (or only), that gives direct support -- as I do everything in-house.
BTW Allen, me and George (tcgeorge), were having a conversation similar to this yesterday on the phone (we have many deep conversations over a couple beers -- that usually degenerate)
He asked a question similar to yours, in that how come I don't take all the cool features of all the programs out there, and roll them into one.
Well, the answer is simple, yet complicated:
1) Rockit has a niche -- it is simple, yet effective.
2) It is as stable as you can find in the industry.
3) It's inexpensive.
If I tried to make it the jack of all trades, master of none -- I would end up with VDJ II. It would grow out of proportion to its intent, you would lose the personal service and support, and I would make more money than I could spend.
So, I sort of look at it like this -- I have both an iPod, and a Zune. They each serve their purpose, and have their own pros and cons -- and they each suck at certain things.
I use the tool that fits the particular job at the time -- Rockit is a tool -- do you have just one tool in yer toolbox...?
