I did not know that the L1s were considered lightweight.I owned them for 2 years and the only difference to other speakers is (talking about weight)that the weight is in more pieces and at the end it is the same.
I mentioned in one of my posts that from my experience the L1 is more of a weddingsystem than a Party system.In that point i have to agree with Thunder.I do Partys with other systems I own.
You were talking about the bass from B1s? Hmm, There is no Bass if in the room are more than about 200-250 people.B1s can not do the same job as an 18inch Sub IMO.
And one more thing.
250Watts+250Watts are not 500Watts.Its still 250Watts but from 2 sources.
Bose L1 is NOT a`bad system at all. Its one of best systems i ever heard but I do not do many weddings and I already have a buyer for this system after 2 years.I need something with more bump for my Partys and Music which I play.

I was only in this discussion because I like a good debate on the facts however if you want to continue on in "blissful naivety"

two 10" mains at 28 pounds each with a single 18" at 85 pounds and a pair of Peavey DPC 1400's at 12 pounds each is 165 pounds, two L1s at 70 pounds each along with 4 B1's at 28 pounds each is 252 pounds doesn't seem like that much less weight does it!

Sorry it is the nitrates that do that by opening the blood vessels allowing more blood to flow through with less pressure!

2 means to producing a similar result, that being vasodilation/normotension:
#1 - Pass gas, releasing Hydrogen sulfide = regulated blood pressure. Obviously, not producing a high enough concentration to be lethal.
#2 - Nitrates, i.e. transdermal ntg, tridal, sublingual nitro = regulated blood pressure.
Just a reminder - Don't go mixing your little blue pills (AKA Viagra) or other ED meds & nitro = possibly lethal hypotension

LOL had that warning from my doctor, she ask me on every visit if I need the little blue pill! I don't know what her interest is in my (or my wifes) sex life is but my wife told her under no circumstance was she to give me any of those pills!
