Sending a Big File Via E-Mail

I have a song I want to send to someone, but their e-mail says it's to big, so I know there is a way to do this... but what the heck is it?

I want to send a few Island Christmas songs.... help!

The easiest way that I use is to upload it to your server and then send the link.

Chuck, you can email it to our support deparment, [email protected] and our friendly support will handle it for you

Basically, I'll put it on the server for you bro and give you the link. put it in a zip file.
What file extension is it? Mp3?

you could shup it and then send them the link...

www.shup.com

Once you download it all you do is right click on a file you'd like to send to: Shup and other mass storage sites... it then spits out a url for the file location... just put that in the email... done in the time it takes to upload.

And just as Travis metioned it would need to be in zip form.

when you say "put it in a zop file" is that something I'm suppose to do? And if so, how?

Actually it's a Zip file and yes you'd have to do it yourself... try AlZip very easy program to use.... download it here http://www.altools.com/Downloads/ALZip.aspx

well even easier than that joker, right click in explorer, select new, new compressed (zipped) folder. It'll create a file all you do is drag and drop the files there and email me the zip file.

Hmmmmmm I must be missing something... when I do that I only get the options for New Folder or Shortcut and below that some things like Briefcase... etc... but, no option for New Compressed File... am I missing something here?

are you using XP or vista? It is built in. new compressed (zipped) folder

If yer using Vista --Right click on file in Window's Explorer->Send To->Compressed (zipped) Folder.

I had it before in XP. Rick's Method works too, just fewer mouse clicks, but those extra clicks with mine git u exercise

I upload to www.fileqube.com and just send a link to the person. It takes a few minutes to setup but works well

got it I think,,, sending now Travis... right click, send to, compressed.... aol will only let me send 16mg at once so you should get two emails,, 4 songs total...

Once I get them, if anyone wants a little island Christmas flavor, let me know...
