Sir Elton played Maui last night... He will be here tonight.
Name a hit and he played it! Even some songs off his new CD with Leon Russell,,, Leon wasn't here.... but nice songs....
What was the first song to get the crowd on their feet???? Guess,,,, whatta ya think????? Bet ya wont know,,,, I'll tell ya after a few of you guess....
Anyway,,,,, lighting and sound was good, not great,,, but they brought it all with them so that must have been fun! LOL NOT!
The mix was not all that great and I am surprised since these guys travel with him,,, but the back up singers sometimes even on one solo from one couldn't be heard until about 1/2 way through, like the sound guy went... "oh yeah,, better turn her up!" m LOL
Sometimes it also took awhile to get the guitar player to be heard,,,, strange but true....
I was hoping that Elton would do a couple of quick costume changes, but nope, those days are past.....
