I had stated that I had gotten out due to the whole same sex wedding issue but lately I have been thinking about it.
First, my outlook on homosexuality itself has changed. When I got out of DJing in 2010 I was going through a religious crisis; I didn't know what I was and I probably could say that I did not understand God or scripture. I thought I did but I didn't. I had started going down the road of the Hebrew Roots Movement and had become an angry Torah Terrorist.
Making a very long story short, a few months ago I began studying the Book of Revelation and along with it came a study of the sovereignty of God. My bottom line now is that God is sovereign and in control of every aspect of our lives. Yes I believe in predestination. Along with that comes the knowledge that He has done everything for a purpose including making all those in the LBTQ alphabet who they are. It is still a violation of His law but my involvement in their lives just may be the catalyst to open their eyes to that.
That being said, if two people love each other then there is no reason that they cannot spend their lives together. I will not preach at them or judge them. Judgement is not my job. I will do my best to make their wedding a positively memorable event in their lives as their wedding planner or officiant.
