OK, I have a question. Can you look at what you have played already during your show, the playlist. I know I can pull it later but what about during.
Rick that would be a great addition to ROCKIT. A played button so you can review what has already been played. Maybe it is already there and I do not know it.

Oh I switch my lappy to a 500 gig internal hard drive and I no longer have lock ups like I was using and external drive. I wonder if my drives were not that good. They were Lacie brick 500 gig.

Probably either too many things sharing the USB bus, or the drive was fragmented (or just plain too slow)...


External busses can also be flaky -- my main desktop has 8 USB ports, 6 on the back, 2 on top. If I connect my external drives to the back ports, they work fine, if I connect them to the top ports, they constantly lose connection, then reconnect. Yet I can put a sound card on the top ports, and they work fine... Could be a power issue... :dontknow:


I wouldn't put anything mission critical on an external bus...

Yes, but with caveats...

If you have a graphics program, you can adjust the colors of the main background image for a skin, but since they are saved as BMPs without the layers I used to create them, then any adjustments will affect the entire image.

Then, if there are non-transparent items (such as the jog knobs on that particular skin), they won't match anymore, so you would have to adjust them as well.


Some of the basic skin backgrounds are easy to manipulate -- some aren't...

Rick if your not too busy could you make a skin from scratch with my ideas? Adjusting if necessary of course. thanks in advance.......
