Blizzard now has a 9 watt RGBW pin spot available; dmx-able and less that $80.00....The oly thing is you can't get a solid white out of it (it's a tri-led bulb)...9 watts ; that's bright for a pinspot....It's also on my list to use with the mirror ball...

So, does something like this have to run off of a controller or can you just feed audio into it?

.

Hank, I haven't seen this one but the tri phase is a great fixture. I'm guessing this one basically doubles the output. Sharp beams, multiple color combinations and, like the other poster said, you can slow them down for a slow dance effect. These boxes cut through the best of anything I've got.

I will sell my 2 tri-phase next year and get 2 quads. Brides love those lights.
And another toy to play for me.

Okay so I love all the new technology but if you put yourself fiv rows back with tables between you and th dancefloor what are you really going ot present on the dancefloor honestly especially if LED is trying to make up ground including projection? Honestly are you blinding those five rows of tables and the dancefloor gains minimal?

Hank - the uC3 controller allows you yo black out, and vary speed and movement. \you could literally slow it to give a mirror ball effect...160 beams...very cool

Not bad. If I was going to get a light, that's the one. The price point is perfect.

Thanks Steve

I wouldn't want the scenario with any light or sound.

Jon - the light isn't blinding and reaches/fills a dance floor easily Tha;'s whats great about this light

Hank - If i were to do a small light show, it would be a an ESC Zipper (led bar) and a tri/quad phase....The tri phase is a great light as I've said.....movement is very smooth and dynamic.....and with the ability to slow and spped up the rotation, it makes a great light for slow dances....

you have to use the UC3 though....

Rick; reading the specs it looks like the exact same as the Tri Phase, with the quad light...

So you blind the four or five tables and then you might reach the dancefloor? With your 500 dollars?

I never have to set up behind 5 tables. So Duh my Acrobat alone gives much more options than your newest LED configuration. Go figure!! Genius!!
