Wow, that's impressive. Did it take a while to gets those folders setup?
i initially retired from live djing in 2007... i had a club residency and was still using cds... when i "unretired" last year....i was highly intimidated by all the modern tech... but i gotta tell ya... once u take the plunge u will never look back....its not only "familiar" ...but its much easier...
The minute you trade in those milk crates of heavy cds for virtual crates on your laptop or a stand alone player...u will love it!
I was using denon 5000's at the time i retired...also had a pair of 2500s... now im using a Pioneer rx2 "Stand alone" controller...not a fan of laptops... my music files are on thumb drives....so i can carry an entire collection in my pocket...

Some of the apps have the ability to be "skinned" and some of the skins are simple looking. Some samples .. there are others.I know a few younger DJ's that have tractor and Serato, they have let me try them.
I understand how it all works, music sorted and stored in folders, Search your song, drag and drop.
For me, My Brain will not accept the screen. I look at it with all the different colors, and lines, and the flashing lights, the numbers changing.
Its too much info to fast for me to proses.
Years a go, someone told me about a program, very basic that at the top of the screen had two boxes that had the buttons and counter laid out just the same as my Numark cd players.
and the bottom of the screen was just one long list of all your song files.
and it had a large search window at the very bottom you could type in your song request.
I guess I am too old school. lol
