I know from time to time I have seen some of you ask for Projector Stands. Here is one that I came across. I have never used it but it looks like it could work.
As far as the laptop accessories on the same page, I would question their use, as putting your hands/downward pressure on the laptop can make for instability. The fulcrum action may cause the pole to topple, however I could be wrong if the base/counterweight is heavy enough!

I usually only rear project so I place my projector on a couple of road cases. Nobody can tell the difference and its one less thing to carry.

That stand looks like an accident waiting to happen. First, the straps look like electrical tape holding the projector in place (yea, I'm guessing it's velcro). Even with the glass pedestal, it just looks ugly to me. Next, the little round pedestal is bad enough but then you have the mount platform on a boom arm, offset from the main shaft. No way, no how.

Not defending the company here but if there is a counter weight on top and a heavy base below, the Projector can be balanced (Kind of like a Boom Microphone). Those straps are Velcro.

It has a neat, contemporary look .. could fit in with some decorations .. especially if the projector had to be positioned in a highly visible spot.

Counter-weight or not, that stand is highly unstable. It looks like a mic stand pedestal on the bottom so one little bump and there's goes a $500 projector. I do like the glass platform.

You mean the classy glass platform that is totally ruined by a bunch of ugly black velcro straps?:p
I think I'd rather have something more industrial looking, which is sturdy, strong, and has less of a chance for me to break it.

Maybe it is an Acrylic tray not glass!

i've got to agree with other comments on this one - i don't think i'd ever trust one of my projectors on this stand
You mean to say that you won't be the first to give a review as to how your $2,000.00 Projector fell off this stand and broke into little pieces????? LOL
