Pretty Excited! Hank is workin' on brandin' me!

Wow! Can I see the proof without my name on there?

Otherwise...I am literally thinking..very awesome.

I don't know about the red background, but then it's unique! I need a few more opinions from just besides you and I, and few ODJT members...I am talking from like a couple friends, and family. See what they think of your artistic talent.

If I had to sit and envision exactly what the card should look like..I would have never envisioned this. I knew I wanted the PR..and the Party Revolution intertwined somehow, and you made it elegant, and yet, the actual Party Revolution stands out nicely.

I am just curious on how much I should put on the front of the card?

Would it be crazy to just put wedding dj/blah blah blah (on the front of the card, contact info on the back?) .and only hand these out to wedding clients?

I meant "bad" guy....whoops!

But to be honest none of the designs were horrible, its just that none of them screamed "PICK ME!! I AM THE SH!T YOU KNOW I SHOULD REPRESENT YOUR COMPANY"

I have seen logo proof sheets and usually I have a hard time picking my favorite 3, in this case its a hard time finding 1 favorite and I just think it wouldn't hurt to get another round of designs drafted. After all you don't want to "re-"re-brand yourself if this doesn't take off how you imagined it years down the road.

I'm just saying get something that your head over heals for becuase at the end of the day this logo will be in your face 24/7....biz cards, web site, letter head, tshirt/polo, vehicle, made into a gobo, etc....

You wouldn't marry an ugly woman to wake up next to everyday! Eventually you'll get sick of seeing her face and get a divorce, in your case another re-branding.....lol

From an everyday bonehead such as myself, I scrolled down to #3 and I knew I didn't need to scroll down any further. Is the is "Pick me, Pick me" you mention.

I really was more focused on the PR part of the branding. The rest is all a bonus to me.

In Business Blue is a power color. Wear a Blue suit to a client meeting and then a Brown suit you will see difference in how key points of selling yours over others willchange dramatically.

I just think my name took away too much of the initial wow factor for me.

Hmmmm...do you think we should try a wedding specialist/dj whathavea approach.

I think each color represents different moods.

I like number 1 and number 2 the best in these. Is there anyway to give the underlying initials a little gold leaf look. For an elegant look. I know I have had some folks here say my web site looks to mechanical. Yet when I have a bride on my site I get tons of compliments from them. Some but not all are all not just about the foo foo. They like professional as well. A perfect combo is what this has an elegant flair that projects the sexy that brides like as well as professionalism. I also am a big fan of flat black with borders as Hank did for me. I love all his work. He is like the Justin of graphics he is bringing sexyback lol.

Honestly, those are some very nice logos you have created. They all are unique, and can be used to target different markets. I will have to disagree with sample 3, only because I am not sure how well the intricate font would stitch onto a company polo. It seems a little too busy.

IMO, I think sample 1 is perfect. It is professional, yet fun... simply elegant. I can see that logo being used for both the high school market and corporate events.

edit: The more I think about it, sample 1 now reminds me of the cartoon network logo.

Wow...I love #1! Easily works for different markets, yes even weddings.

Not fond of #3, sorry. Almost too weddingy. The font really doesn't fit the words.

However, I'm not the client. All great work Hank, as always.

Score! Works for me. LOL!

I am going to be using the PR more often on my stuff than not.

Does anyone know where I can get like about a nice 3x4 ft cardboard/other material printout for a nice advertisement to be used at like bridal shows?

I know I can get banners all over..I was thinking of a less wrinkled mess. :sqwink:

Any print shop should be able to do that

Hank is going above and beyond my expectations as these days roll on, and I owe him an unbelievable thank you! You really are going to wonders for my business, and for that I am always indebted, even though you are doing most of it as a friend! *small tear* That was a happy tear! So let's keep this thing rolling, and finally get my business logos and all branded the way it should have been done a couple years ago.

A better idea is laminate them...A little more expensive but more durable also. Last time I had Laminating done it was 4 or 5 bucks for an 8X12 sheet

This is an excellent point Wayde. I was thinking the same thing as Adam and I were brainstorming over tag lines.

"Party Revolution" is an edgy name. It warrants an edgy logo. The fluffy logo seems like it should be called "Party Revelation". :sqwink:

You know Adam, this may be something to consider.

Nothing is carved in stone yet.
