Growlers give me a woodie and the Orbit Shifters oh my four or six of those is my dream bass delivery system.

yeah I went down to his shop and auditioned an OS (and a Captivator) with the idea of maybe switching over to two of those. The output of one Orbit Shifter is roughly equal to 3 Growlers. I was thinking two OS would be sweet. The problem for me is their size/weight. Too much for me to reliably handle on my own. Maybe if I had a slightly bigger vehicle with a ramp I could manage.
I can tell you the Captivator is pretty darn incredible too, not as much output but the same box size as a Growler..and goes all the way down to the nether regions! I quiver at the thought of a pack of 4 of those...

Why don't you hook them up to your laptop?

Newbie post. This was our set up at the 1st prom we did in April. It was held at the Stanley hotel (Think the movie the shining) in Colorado. We are still building our set up light and sound wise (along with my DJ'ing skills) but the columns and height of the ceilings helped make the uplights pop.
