Here's another with four posts, acrylic board, and heads.
Maybe it is just me but I see a conflict/clash with the color hues. Everything else looks fine.

That's a LOT of Bass there !! 4 Growlers.

A friend's wedding I did last summer. The ceiling on the stage is low so it wasn't ideal. I decided to pull the colorstrips I use for the facade out do do some uplighting since my setup was directly behind them for the dinner.

Im most interested in the facade might you share a straight on view and details on your customizied facade?

I'll be the first to admit that I have a *thing* for bass. Tight, clean bass. I did a gig sometime last year with only two Growlers (rented out the other two) in a small room and they did the job, but I was really craving the headroom I was missing. Maybe I'm completely demented, but I always use 4. (edit) In fact I have dreams of running 6, but my pack space won't accommodate.
I did talk to Jeff about V-plating and he told me he tried it once and couldn't hear a difference. I've never asked him specifically about clustering, but I just don't see how it can't make a difference. It's physics, isn't it? Perhaps some real world measurements are in order.

Re: facade. I bought off of ebay and I can't recall the seller name. It was not cheap, but I'm sure it was less than the Dragonboard ones.
Here's a gig I did in a redicilously small room with better pics of the facade. I had never been there before and this is one case where had I known just how small it was I would have probably run with just a pair of 15/horns. In fact I almost drove back home. This was also when I was still trying to manage with BFM 212 Otops. Pretty much the epitome of overkill on this one hah.

It looks like your DJ sign is an edge lit LED one .. Where did you get that? Looks cool .. and are those Bill FitzMaurice tops?

Thanks. Yes, a color-changing LED edge-lit custom acrylic sign. Ebay again, can't remember the seller again. I think it was around $100. I haven't taken very good care of it though and it's getting a little scuffed up now. I really need to fabricate some kind of padded bag/case for it.

They are Bill Fitzmaurice Omnitop 2x12's. I don't have them anymore though (using JTR Triple 8's now). They sounded incredible, but were too heavy for me to manage reasonably by myself not to mention way loud for most of what I do. I once provided sound for a rave type show with them and a total of 8 Growlers and they were able to keep up with them.

The beginning of this video shows a bit more detail of the back side of the facade.
Since I made this video I realized you just have to tilt the lights back a little bit to make it look right. Still using the painted Colorstrip mini's though.

I assumed you were a BFM fan with the v cluster. ;) Jeff's (and Tom Danley's) horn designs are different than BFM and most others in that they are a fully tuned horn. While BFM's horn is too short and benefits from v-clustering to achieve the proper port length to reach maximum efficiency and low end response, JTR & Danley do not perform that way. They do gain 3db from side by side clustering the same as any other low frequency driver. I wish that I was out there near Jeff and had the ability to rent, but I'm stuck with purchasing and storing so I only have a pair for now. :(

I saw one of your youtube videos and I would VERY careful with lasers in the future. You really need them aimed up over people's heads with no possibility to the laser reaching their eyes.

That facade off ebay was made by a company in NJ. I got mine from pordadecor.com They are local to me. I paid i think just under 700.00 and had a custom bag made for mine from tukicovers.com :) I hope this helps. Heres a pic of mine. I have also made one myself, not worth it just buy one. This was at the new 991/911 launch. IMG_0489.JPG
