thanks Jamey but the funny thing is it is made on the very same assembly line as the name products with one or two slight alterations.
I can certainly appreciate what you imply, BUT...if they do not have the compliance forms (regardless of where they are made), they are not legal for use in the US. I know Canada has different laws, and I cannot speak about something which I don't know. CSA approvals are necessary (and Ontario even has additional requirements) for operation in Canada.
Make sure you have the safest products you can use....is it worth saving a couple of dollars over possible safety issues, and having illegal gear confiscated, and perhaps even fined? Not in my book.
