I guarantee the price will drop within the first 3 months.

The last quality piece Numark ever put out was the CDN 90.

If someone wants to add ITCH to their arsenal, the Vestax controller would be the better choice.

I agree the demo guy is horrible with the unit.

The Vestax has no moving platter. I like the feel of a moving platter under my fingers.

Its Sertato... If it was traktor friendly I would consider, but I will stick with my Tracktor 3 and soon to be Traktor Skratch... I need my 4 decks...

Its a midi controller compatible with any midi capable dj software including Traktor VDJ and others. Beleive me people will be making tks and mappers for this as soon as it hits the market.

I did look into it... I dont beleive they will work with traktor at this point due to the midi mapping for the tables... They have a problem with the whole spinning issue... It may work in scratch mode, but im not spending the big bucks to find out it does not work...
My problem is if one part dies, the whole thing is useless...

It's around $1500? I thought it was going to be around $1000? Any word on a street date?

My guess is - the demo guy is one of the Numark Engineers, and not a D.J., which is why he's great with product knowledge, but not quite as good with showing how or why this product might be exciting to a D.J. At one point he shows a mic. input. I don't understand why he's not using it, with a mic. on him, during this demo. What trade show was this taped at, do you know?
